Tutoring for Graduate Students

Options for Assistance with Learning Course Content

Since we have few to no NKU student academic tutors who specialize in graduate courses, students in graduate level classes should check out Online Tutoring with NetTutor, which offers professional tutors, many with graduate degrees. NetTutor covers the subject areas of accounting, anthropology, biology, business, chemistry, computer science, economics, finance, geology, health science, history, geography, nursing, philosophy, physics, political science, psychology, and sociology.

To access NetTutor and use its services, free of charge:

  1. Request your professor to make NetTutor available in Blackboard for the entire class.
    OR
  2. Request registration for the service as an individual student, by contacting PLUS Tutor Coordinator Robin Theobald Carstens at carstensr@nku.edu.

Options for Assistance in Paper Writing

  1. Use the NKU Writing Center face-to-face service.
  2. Use the NKU Online WC service.
  3. Use the Online Tutoring with NetTutor "Paper Center" service, by requesting your professor to make NetTutor available in Blackboard for the entire class OR by requesting individual registration from Writing Center Coordinator Wanda Crawford at crawford@nku.edu.
